Alkilani, Shelby named Students of the Month

Raghad Alkilani and Kaylee Shelby were named Sikeston High School Students of the Month for October.

Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, which sponsors the monthly program, names two seniors each month for the honor during the 2021-2022 school year.

Alkilani, who is the daughter of Hadeel and Muhannad Alkilani, is active in Student Council, Key Club, ASTRA Club, Model UN, National Honors Society, Link Crew, Inspired, A-Plus Program and track. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, reading and making jewelry.

Shelby is the daughter of Mandy and Christopher Shelby. Her extracurricular activities include dance, orchestra, National Honors Society, teaching little kids at her church and the A-Plus Program. She lists her hobbies as drawing and making art, dancing, playing her violin, baking and playing video games.
