1)  Q Who should I contact to see what bus my son or daughter rides to school?
A
If you do not receive a letter from the district a couple of days before the first day of school letting you know this call the school your child will attend. The phone numbers for the schools can be seen by clicking on "transportation".
2)  Q How do I view my son or daughters grades through "Parent Portal"?
A
There is a link to "Parent Portal" on this website. When you registered your child for school you should have supplied an email address. Your login information for "Parent Portal" will be automatically emailed to you at the beginning of the school year.
3)  Q How can I get assignments when my son or daughter is absent from school?
A
For the 7th & 8th Grade Center and the High School lesson plans for teachers are posted online. On this website go to "For Parents" and click on "Lesson Plans". For other schools in the district call the school your son or daughter attends to get assignments. Phone numbers for schools can be viewed on this website by clicking on "For Parents" and clicking on "Transportation".
4)  Q How can I see what events are coming up in each building in the school district?

Click on "calendars" and select the building your son or daughter attends. For some events additional information if provided by clicking on the event.
5)  Q Where can I see sport scores and other events?
A
The local newspaper posts their entire daily paper online. This paper contains the results of many of the events for Sikeston R-6 Schools. To go to this website click on "About Sikeston" and click on "Local Newspaper".
6)  Q I'm worried about giving my son or daughter access to the internet. Where can I get information about internet safety?
A
On this website click on "Internet Safety". Click on "For Parents", For Parents and Students" or "For All Groups" and click on the websites that come up. These sites contain information on internet safety.
